The Casement Morning Visit
The brief
A couple of retired teachers bought two floors of an old furniture warehouse near Fulton Street and wanted to live in the upper floor while the lower one became their main home.
What the morning showed us
They read for hours every day, always in the same corner, with the lamp cord stretched across the floor. The loft had beautiful windows and nowhere to put a book down.
