Custom Millwork
Sideboards, built-ins and shelving made from Michigan wood. Led by one designer from the Morning Visit to Install Day.

Built-ins, libraries, wardrobes and sideboards, drawn by our designers and made by our six makers in a 4,200 sq ft workshop four miles from the studio.
Teodor Lind’s family has made furniture in Grand Rapids for four generations. The workshop uses Michigan white oak, black walnut and ash from mills within 200 miles, finished with hard-wax oils that can be repaired rather than replaced.
What we make
Library walls, window seats and reading nooks
Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry
Wardrobes and mudroom storage
Sideboards, desks and dining tables
Restored and rebuilt heirloom pieces
Millwork-only commissions
If you already have drawings, our makers take a limited number of build-only projects each season. We review every drawing with you before the first cut.
Built to be repaired
We use joinery over fasteners wherever possible, so a piece can be taken apart, refinished and handed down rather than thrown away.
How it runs, week by week
“Teodor’s library wall is the best piece of furniture we will ever own. It looks like it grew there.”
